The top of the slide and the right side of the frame both have a Crowned “N” proof. The bottom of the frame in front of the trigger guard is marked “181677 / Germany”. The barrel is marked with a Crowned “N” proof and “Cal 7.65m/m”. Barrel Length: 3 3/8” Sights / Optics: The front sight is a short blade fixed to the slide. Mitchell on demand crack version 58 11. The rear sight is a “U” notch in the base formed on the back of the slide. Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are smooth walnut with a bronze medallion on each grip.

The medallions show a dragon with a long tail shaped in the form of a “D”. The grips show handling marks and light oil staining. There are small sharp compression marks on the right grip with surface loss above the medallion and one or two compression marks on the left grip. The grips rate in about Very Good overall condition. Type of Finish: Blue Finish Originality: All Original Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is deep. There is no erosion in the bore. Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 80-85% of its metal finish.

The front of the slide at the muzzle and the top, bottom and back edges of the slide show some surface loss. The slide also shows spots of surface loss around the port opening and on the top and right sides. The extractor shows surface loss. The bottom corner of the backstrap shows thinning, and the backstrap and front strap show light compression marks.

There is light pinprick surface erosion on top edges of the slide with spots on the right side of the slide, and right side of frame behind the trigger. The sides of the trigger guard, the safety and the magazine release show thinning. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Fine condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun.

Registration: Bidders must be registered buyers with Invaluable. No other forms of electronic bidding are accepted. Each registered bidder is solely responsible for the use of his/her bidder number and any use by another person is presumed to be with the consent of and contractually binding on the registered bidder. The bidder warrants that he/she is not under the age of 18.

Collusion: Practices that eliminate competition, such as collusive bidding, fictitious bidding, Pooling or conspiring to make a bid by acting as a 'capper', 'booster', or 'shiller' may result in criminal penalties pursuant to the Sherman Anti Trust Act.
Timely Payment: The successful bidder must pay for the purchase of all lots immediately following the conclusion of the auction.
Reserves: Montrose Auction Inc. generally accepts property/merchandise with no reserves. Montrose Auction Inc. will, from time to time, accept items with confidential reserves. This is the minimum price that the consignor will accept for the lot. All reserves are set at or below fair market value and at no time will Montrose Auction Inc. accept a reserve that exceeds what our extensive experience tells us is fair market value for a particular lot.
Payment Form: Acceptable forms of payment are VISA, MASTERCARD and American Express.
Firearm Purchases: Montrose Auction is a federally-licensed firearms dealer in the state of Georgia and follows all local, state and federal firearms regulations. A current, signed copy of a dealer's Federal Firearms License (FFL) is required before firearms will be shipped. Class III Purchases: Class III items are fully transferable after ATF approval on a Form 3 or Form 4 with the applicable NFA tax stamp.
Shipping: 'IN HOUSE' SHIPPING FOR SMALL ITEMS: All Invaluable bidders are responsible for the cost of packing and shipping. Insurance is required for all shipments. Default: Failure to make required payments or effect removal of property/merchandise within time and manner specified shall be deemed forfeiture of any right, title, and interest bidder may have acquired, and the property/merchandise shall revert and repossess to Montrose Auction Inc.
