Installation steps (for exe / zip):

1. Save the driver files to your computer.
2. Run the executable or extract the installation files to a location on your disk.
3. Follow the steps displayed by the setup wizard.
4. After installation, restart the computer.

Important notes:

- Before installation, save all your work and close all the running programs, as the installation may interfere with other apps;
- If the setup wizard requests Administrative rights, make sure to run the setup as Administrator;
- Pay attention to all installation instructions to make sure the driver is installed correctly;

About DJ Controller Driver:

If you install this package, your device will be properly recognized by compatible systems, and might even benefit from new features or various bug fixes.
Please note that, even though other operating systems might also be compatible, we do not recommend you apply any software on platforms other than the specified ones. Doing so might cause the installation to crash, which could even render the device unusable.

HOW TO SET UP?

The system must recognize your Pioneer DDJ-SX as Audio and MIDI Device before configuring in DJ ProMixer.
Pioneer DDJ-SX only requires download and install Pioneer DDJ SX ASIO Driver.

Open DJ ProMixer and go to “Config” and open “Audio Setup”, here you can select your Pioneer DDJ-SX as Audio Sound Card.

AUDIO SETTINGS

For Internal Mode choose your output (1.- for XLR connectors or 2.- for RCA)

Important: Pioneer DDJ –SX is designed to be used as internal mode (with internal Sound Card), but you can use also with DJ ProMixer as external mode (with other/s Sound Card/s and external mixer).

MIDI CONFIGURATION

In “Config” go to “MIDI Controllers” and then select in MIDI PORT / MIDI MAP 1 on the left side one device (DDJ-SX MID) and select on the right side PIONEER DDJ-SX.XML. MIDI PORT / MIDI MAP 2: Nothing Selected.
